About me

My name is Morten and I have lived my entire adult life in Oslo.

In 1973 I went to a local travel agency, and came back with catalogs and brochures that probably cost some hundred square meters of forest. My excuse was of course that I didn't know better 😊 

The first trip was to Gran Canaria, and it was "unfortunately" a very successful trip. I was "hooked" immediately and have never been able to stop. 

Planning holidays can be very time-consuming, and challenging for some. For others, like me, this has become a hobby, which still takes a lot of time, but which I also enjoy. 

To paraphrase a famous quote: 
My life has been full of terrible misfortunes most of which never happened.

For me it will be:
My life has been full of fantastic vacations most of which never happened.

I've always planned a lot of vacations that never happened. Well, a lot of people say that planning a vacation is half the fun, but for me it's okay to plan a vacation even though I know it will never happen.

In recent years, there has been less and less travel, which just means that I have even more time to plan new trips.
